Good Morning, crafty friends!

Graphic 45 By The Sea Tag Tutorial

Good Morning!

March is National Craft Month, so the design team at Graphic 45 has been busy at work creating some fun tutorials for the whole family! My tag home decor piece is today's tutorial. Also on the blog is a gorgeous tag by the amazing Arlene Cuevas!

If you leave a comment on Graphic 45's blog or Facebook page, you're automatically entered to win this amazing prize pack:

I love By The Sea so much, that this is the second home decor piece I've made with it! When I found out that my special project was to use one of Graphic 45's tags, I thought I'd do something different from my other tag creations. I was really inspired by the "beach rules" image and felt another home decor piece was a must! And being the upcycler that I am, I was excited to finally use some burlap from a dear friend's Christmas present.

Step 2. Take Gathering Shells paper and fussy cut an orange starfish. Take My Anchor paper and fussy cut a blue starfish. Take Sand and Surf paper and fussy cut some shells from the “Gathering Seashells” image. Cut (2) stamps from Splash paper.

Step 3. Take Beachcomber paper and cut off a 6.5” x 8” piece. Flip over to reveal red side and set aside. Take remaining Beachcomber paper and fussy cut some shells. Locate (2) blue flowers such as these Petaloo Dahlias in Aqua. Locate the following By The Sea chipboard piece.

Step 4. Adhere Beach Rules tag shape onto your tag. Adhere to burlap.

Step 5. Arrange fussy cut pieces and flowers per photo then adhere.

Step 6. Adhere 6.5” x 8” Beachcomber paper behind burlap, then tan cardstock. Take your branch and trim off pieces to fit each side of your tan paper. Adhere. Apply Stickles to shells.  Insert your wall hanging into a larger frame or attach ribbon to the back for hanging.
